A lesbian chat room is a place online where lesbians can talk in real time. Many sites use the term for big public group chats. Lesbian Chat works differently, and we want to be upfront about it: right now, each chat room is a private conversation between two people.
That is on purpose. In a one-to-one room you get a real conversation instead of everyone talking over each other. Nobody is performing for an audience, and it is much easier to open up about what matters, from a rough day to a coming-out story to your favourite book.

- Public lesbian chat rooms (maybe). Based on member feedback, we may add public group rooms in the future. If we do, verification will be mandatory for those rooms too, with the same private check and no exceptions.
- Image uploads (not sure yet). We are also thinking about image sharing in chat. We have not decided, and it would only happen if members want it and we can do it safely.
- Nothing here is a promise. Your feedback decides what we build next. Right now every chat is private, one-to-one and text-only.

Right now every chat is a private one-to-one room. Based on member feedback we may add public rooms in the future. If we do, the same mandatory verification will apply to them.
Is this lesbian chat room free?
Yes. Joining and chatting are free. Optional Plus adds little extras, never a paywall to belonging.
Can I send photos in the chat?
Not at the moment. Chats are text-only, with emojis and GIFs. We are considering image uploads for the future, but we are not sure yet and it would depend on member feedback and on doing it safely.
Can I choose who I talk to?
You choose preferences such as interests, language, vibe and age range, and we match you with someone who fits. They are preferences, not guarantees, and you can always skip to someone new.
What if someone makes me uncomfortable?
