Why I built Lesbian Chat
Everywhere I went online, I wanted the same simple thing: to talk with women. But almost every anonymous chat site I tried was full of men. And whenever the conversation turned to who was a woman, suddenly everyone was a woman, and a lesbian. Again and again.
A lot of those profiles were fake, and a lot of the rest were bots. It was exhausting, and honestly a little unsafe, to never know who was really on the other side of the screen.
So I built the place I could not find: a free, women-only space where lesbian, bi and queer women can chat anonymously, with a quick private verification step to help keep fake profiles and bots out. It is not perfect, no website is, but it is built on one idea: you should be able to just talk, without wondering who is pretending.

What I wanted to fix:
