Terms of Service

Who can use Lesbian Chat

• Age. You must be 18 or older. Lesbian Chat is for adults only.
• Community. Lesbian Chat is for lesbian, bi and queer women, including trans women, and for nonbinary people who are part of our community. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older and part of this community.
• Legal ability. You must be able to enter into a binding agreement and must not be banned from using Lesbian Chat.

Your account

• Be honest. Give accurate information when you sign up, including a working email address.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people or create more than one for yourself.
• Keep it secure. You are responsible for your password and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• Your anonymous identity. You get a username and an avatar. Do not impersonate other people or use a name meant to mislead, harass or offend.
• No selling or sharing. Do not sell, rent, transfer or lend your account.

Verification

• Required. Before you can chat, you must complete our private verification: a live selfie, a short liveness check and an age check.
• Genuine only. Use your own face and your own camera. Do not use photos, videos, screens, masks, deepfakes or someone else's identity, and do not try to get around the check.
• Our decision. We may approve, reject, ask you to try again or review a check manually. We may ask you to verify again at any time.
• Your information. How we handle your selfie and other data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Community rules

Please:

• Be kind. Respect identities, pronouns and boundaries.
• Keep flirting mutual. A “no”, or silence, means stop.
• Share only text, emojis and safe GIFs. No photo or video sharing.
• Keep personal details private, for you and for others.
• Report anything that makes you uncomfortable.

You must not:

• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk or pressure anyone, or send unwanted sexual messages
• Post hateful content or discriminate against people because of who they are
• Share or ask for photos, videos, links, phone numbers, addresses, social accounts or other personal details
• Share someone else's private information, or screenshots of private chats, without their consent
• Impersonate another person or pretend to be someone you are not to mislead others
• Scam, advertise, promote services or send spam
• Use bots, scripts or automation, or collect data from the service
• Share anything illegal, obscene or harmful, or anything that sexualises or endangers minors
• Try to break, overload, hack or reverse-engineer the service, or avoid verification, blocks or bans
• Use Lesbian Chat if you are under 18, or help someone under 18 use it

Anything involving the sexual exploitation of minors is strictly forbidden, and we report it to the authorities. You can read more on our safety page.

Your content

• Yours. You keep ownership of the messages you send. You are responsible for them.
• Our permission to run the service. You give us a limited, non-exclusive right to store, transmit and display your messages to the person you are chatting with, and to review and act on them for safety, as needed to run Lesbian Chat.
• Private, but not unlimited. Chats are private between members. We may review chats that are reported, or when we need to for safety or to meet legal duties.
• No endorsement. We do not check or endorse what members say, and we are not responsible for it.

Safety and other members

• People can behave badly. We verify members and give you tools to skip, block and report, but we cannot guarantee who someone is or how they will behave.
• Protect yourself. Keep personal details private, and be careful if anyone asks you to move to another app or to meet in person.
• Emergencies. Lesbian Chat is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number.
• Report problems. Use the report option in a chat, or email us. We look at reports and may act on them.

Enforcement

If you break these terms or the law, or if we reasonably believe you are putting others at risk, we may do any of the following, with or without notice depending on how serious it is:

• Remove content or issue a warning
• Limit features or restrict your account
• Suspend or permanently ban your account
• Report illegal activity, and anything involving harm to minors, to the authorities

If you think we made a mistake, email us and we will take another look.

Plus and payments

• Today. Joining and chatting are free. A paid Plus option is planned for later but is not live, and no payments are taken.
• In the future. If we introduce paid features, we will show you the price, billing and refund terms before you pay, and we will update these terms.

Our rights

• Ours. The Lesbian Chat name, design, text, illustrations and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service as intended, but you may not copy, sell or reuse our materials without permission.
• Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

The service and changes

• Changes. We may change, add, pause or remove features at any time.
• Plans are not promises. Features we describe as planned or under consideration, such as public rooms, image uploads or Plus, may never launch, and nothing about them is a commitment. If public rooms are ever added, verification will remain mandatory for them.
• Availability. We try to keep Lesbian Chat running, but it may be unavailable because of maintenance, errors or problems with our providers.
• Third parties. We rely on services from other companies, such as hosting, database and support chat providers. We are not responsible for their services.

Disclaimers

Lesbian Chat is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that you will be matched with anyone, or that other members are who they say they are or will behave in a particular way. We act as a platform that connects members, and members are responsible for what they say and do.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or anything arising from other members' conduct or from services provided by third parties. Our total liability to you for any claim related to Lesbian Chat is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your legal rights as a consumer where they cannot be waived.

Your responsibility

You agree to:

• Follow these terms and the law when you use Lesbian Chat
• Take responsibility for what you say and do on the service
• Pay for losses we suffer because you broke these terms or the law, to the extent the law allows

Ending your account

You can stop using Lesbian Chat at any time. To delete your account and data, email us at support@chatwithlesbians.online from the address on your account. We may suspend or end your access as described in “Enforcement”. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue, such as the sections on liability and governing law, will still apply after your account ends.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking it through, the courts of India will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Reporting and grievance officer

To report content or behaviour that breaks these terms, to complain about the service, or to ask us to remove something, use the report option in a chat or email us. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and to resolve them within 15 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date, and if the changes are important we will let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Lesbian Chat after the changes take effect, you accept them.

General

• Whole agreement. These terms, our Privacy Policy and our community rules are the full agreement between you and us.
• If part is invalid. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce a term straight away, that does not mean we give it up.
• Transfers. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example in a business change.
